Our team at NWMA is so excited to participate in the Paint Tacoma Beautiful Project 8/18. This is an incredible initiative that has helped over 2,200 elderly, low income, and disabled homeowners refresh the exteriors of their homes with new paint and much needed maintenance. It’s easy to look at the beauty industry as only going skin deep but here at NWMA we want to change that misconception and show that true beauty comes from the inside out and can mean many different things. kindness inspires other kindness. Here’s how we can “share good news”
The 2-day University Place Battle of the Badges that happened earlier this month was a HUGE success. Enough blood was donated that 140 individuals in urgent need of life-saving blood received support. A special shout out to the UP Police Department for their victory in getting the most donors. Our collective efforts showcased the power of community and compassion, thank you for those who participated! The next NWMA sponsored blood drive will be May 20th in Gig Harbor. In the meantime, if you are able to donate, please do by visiting redcrossblood.org and sign up for a drive near you.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our food drive in December! Your generosity made a significant impact. All the food donations have been delivered to Eloise’s Cooking Pot in Tacoma, WA, a wonderful food bank serving our community.
Northwest Medical Arts is excited to announce the nonprofit recipient of funds supported by monthly membership dollars saved by our “Impact Circle” and “Have It All” Members and matched by NWMA. In our first quarter of operations, we were able to match member contributions and make our first donation to the Multicultural Child & Family Hope Center. This is a local nonprofit in Tacoma whose mission is to EDUCATE, EMPOWER, and UPLIFT our children, youth, & community to increase access to opportunities.
This charitably-funded 501(c)3 organization offers before and after school childcare services, emergency respite foster care, early learning programs, and a diaper bank that serves up to 100 families each month. They also have programs designed to give parents tools to reduce incidents of child maltreatment, enhance safety in homes, help fathers navigate the child welfare system as well as many other services and partner programs. Associated Ministriesis uniting communities of different faiths to work together toward lasting solutions to homelessness in Pierce County. Since opening Northwest Medical Arts we have become so much more connected to our community. We have increased our awareness to the struggles and challenges that exist and the amazing people dedicating their lives and careers to making it better. We knew from the start that our vision of helping patients look and feel their best self can compliment the vision of these amazing non-profits we have gotten to work with. We are so excited and inspired to have membership programs that can help make a difference to not only our patients but our entire community. Through our partner organizations we have been given ways we can take meaningful steps and make a real difference. We look forward to working with this organization more under their “Paint Tacoma Beautiful” program as we volunteer free exterior house painting to low-income home owners during summer months. If you would like to learn more on ways you can give back to any of the organizations we have worked with please Contact Us
